Sochi: recharge in spring!
Sochi is the absolute champion among Russian cities in terms of the number of entertainment per square meter. It is not without reason that it bears the informal title "city - holiday". If you decide to recharge yourself with energy in one weekend, to break loose and get unforgettable emotions - you are here.
How to get there

By car or train from Moscow Sochi can be reached in about a day (1,600 kilometers). Therefore, if you have planned a short but eventful vacation, it is better to get there by plane. It takes only two hours. In the low season, prices are quite reasonable and start on average from 3 thousand rubles for low-cost airlines, up to 5 thousand for other airlines.

The plane lands from the Black Sea and you have fantastic views: a blue abyss below, and on the horizon - the snow-capped mountains of the Caucasus. The Olympic Park can be viewed from above. Seven large stadiums located around the square. Nearby is Sochi Autodrom, where the Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix races are held. It takes 10 minutes to get from the airport to the hotels located in the Olympic Park. The world's leading hotel chains are represented here, so you can get settled in comfort.

There are few tourists in the coastal cluster - most of them go skiing in the mountains of Krasnaya Polyana at this time - so a hotel room will be inexpensive, on average from 2 to 5 thousand rubles in a 3 or 4 star hotel. Five-star hotels or an exclusive version will cost, of course, a little more.
Adrenaline hits your eyes

Sochi at spring will definitely appeal to fans of outdoor activities and extreme sports. For example, you can ride on a real Formula 1 track at Sochi Autodrom, which is located in the Olympic Park, a favorite with tourists. You can rent a racing car and take part in a track session, take driving lessons from a professional racer or feel the speed in a "race taxi".

Another dose of thrill can be obtained at Sky Park, which offers tourists high-altitude attractions. This is the first high-altitude adventure park in Russia from the founder of bungee jumping AJ Hackett. The highest bungee in Europe and Russia is BUNGY 207 m, as well as the world's tallest swing SochiSwing 170 m, MegaTroll 700 m long, which can reach speeds of up to 120 km / h. The suspension bridge, thrown between two rocks above the gorge of the Mzymta River, is the longest in the world - 439 m. From a height, visitors can enjoy magnificent panoramic views. On the one hand - to the Caucasus Mountains, on the other - to the Black Sea coast.

They say that when jumping on a bungee, a completely different person rises from the abyss.
Говорят, что при прыжке на банджи из пропасти поднимается совсем другой человек.
"I would like to go to the mountains!"

By right, the resorts of Krasnaya Polyana rank first among the best ski resorts in Russia. You can get here from the Olympic Park by car or by the Lastochka high-speed train. The trip will take less than an hour, and it feels like you are entering another world. Instead of a warm sea around the snow-capped peaks.

In Krasnaya Polyana, competitions were also held during the Winter Olympic Games: everything related to skiing, bobsleigh and tobogganing. Actually, people come here for this now. Krasnaya Polyana is a real mecca for skiers, snowboarders and other nerve-tickling fans. There are three world-class ski resorts here and each is unique in its own way.
There are many other features and unique places in Krasnaya Polyana. For example, here you can ride a real bobsleigh track. Now this stadium works as a winter attraction for everyone. You can ride a real sports bob that flies down the chute at a speed of 130 kilometers per hour. Or swing on a swing with a breathtaking look.
Sea romance

Swimming in the sea in spring, of course, is still impossible - the water is still cool. But you can swim in warm sea water in the pool or spa complex - they are available in many hotels, and of the highest level. For those who want something more romantic, we recommend a yacht trip. Going out to sea will surely remain in your memory for a long time and will leave dozens of bright selfies in your phone.

And, of course, what kind of trip can do without mysterious legends. There are many interesting places in Sochi, which, even briefly, can only be described in a large book. For example, in the Adler district there is one of the oldest caves - Akhshtyrskaya. According to a legend, it was in this place that Odysseus could meet the Cyclops Polyphemus. And on the Eagle Rocks - this is already the Khostinsky district of the city - Prometheus was chained. You can walk through the relict Colchis forest in a yew and boxwood grove, and admire plants brought from all over the world - in the Arboretum.

If you come on vacation with children, go to Sochi Park. It is not without reason that it is called the Russian "Disneyland" - here even adults can plunge into the atmosphere of a fairy tale, ride the rides, and participate in entertainment programs.
Time for meal

Fresh sea air and a long walk make you think about having meal. Everything is close by in Sochi: from popular fast food chains to first-class restaurants that could very well claim Michelin stars.

It is not without reason that the Caucasus is called the "gateway" of Eurasia. Perhaps there is no place in the world where so many cultures are intertwined. And each of them brought its own culinary traditions! At least three internationally recognized culinary schools have combined in the modern cuisine of Krasnodar region.

The Kuban Cossacks brought with them a Ukrainian flavor: the famous borsch, pickles, fish dishes, bacon. The peoples of the Caucasus and Transcaucasia have enriched local traditions with hot sauces, cheeses, meat dishes on charcoal. The Greeks added Mediterranean flavors: wine, seafood, fresh vegetables. This whole gastronomic "cocktail" has been infused and enriched for several centuries and today is a unique phenomenon that is worth getting to know better. Therefore, in the menu of one Sochi cafe you can see oysters, Kuban borsch and a large selection of grilled dishes.
To the south - for cheerfulness

Spring is a great time to take care of your health. Plus, it's pretty profitable. Tours to the sanatoria of Krasnodar region in the low season are much cheaper. And this does not make the unique health improvement programs worse. Low season is the time for profitable rest and recovery. The resorts are not overloaded with people, and the sea and nature are still beautiful.

Here are three important reasons why you should go to the sanatorium in the spring:
1. It is in the spring that doctors recommend paying attention to diseases of the liver, gallbladder and problems with the gastrointestinal tract.
2. Spring break is a great excuse to take the whole family on vacation. In addition, many resorts offer short-term recovery programs to prevent colds and discounts on family tours.
3. In spring, there is no heat and active sun, which is harmful to heart patients and hypertensive patients.
4. And even in the spring, sanatoria and boarding houses offer very favorable prices under the "Southern Health Resort" program.
